– Implementing the policy of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee in Notice No. 1670-TB/TU on forced land recovery for 05 organizations and 07/10 households and individuals to implement the Social Housing Project at Lac Vien General Warehouse 3 (No. 142 Le Lai), May Chai Ward and Cau Tre Ward, Ngo Quyen District; direction of the City People's Committee in Notice No. 289/TB-VP dated October 10, 2023 and Notice No. 299/TB-VP dated October 20, 2023 on the Conclusion of the Chairman of the City People's Committee at the meeting to hear the report on the organization of preparations to organize enforcement of the land recovery decision for Hai Phong Foreign Trade Logistics Joint Stock Company (Chau Giang Company Limited is the relevant unit).
Ngo Quyen district leaders meet and dialogue with leaders of Chau Giang Co., Ltd.
The People's Committee of Ngo Quyen district has just reported that, regarding the propaganda work of Chau Giang Co., Ltd. and its employees, continuously in the past few days, Ngo Quyen district has contacted and requested the People's Committees of districts in the city to continue to coordinate, actively inform and propagate to each case of workers of Chau Giang Co., Ltd. residing in the area not to go to the enforcement area from 00:00 on October 23, 2023; Do not gather in large numbers and cause insecurity in the above area.
Also on October 21 and 22, leaders of Ngo Quyen District People's Committee and related departments and units continued to meet and discuss with leaders of Chau Giang Co., Ltd. and Cosmos Shoes International Ltd - the unit that signed a production contract with Chau Giang Company to inform, propagate and request businesses to move and hand over the premises soon. At the meeting, leaders of Cosmos Shoes International Ltd were aware of the importance of the Project and agreed to implement the regulations and announcements of the Chairman of the City People's Committee.
On Chau Giang Co., Ltd., on October 22, 2023, there was a Notice of agreement and compliance with the city's documents, voluntarily handing over the entire office and factory area in the 3 Lac Vien Warehouse area. Accordingly, the Company stops all production activities of its workshops before 00:00 on October 23, 2023; Packing goods, moving all machinery, equipment and assets, completed before November 23, 2023 to hand over to Ngo Quyen district.
