(Haiphong.gov.vn) – The City People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 144/QD-UBND on recognizing OCOP products in Hai Phong city in 2019. In this Decision, the city recognizes and issues Certificates of products that meet OCOP criteria and city-level star classification in 2019, specifically:

1. OCOP products reach 4 stars (****): 1 product is Braised Sardines in Fishing Village of Fishing Village Processing Facility, Dai Ha commune, Kien Thuy district.
2. OCOP products with 3 stars (***): 11 products, including:
Ruoi field rice of Thuy Huong Agricultural Production and Business Services Cooperative, Thuy Huong commune, Kien Thuy district; Chan Hung Eggs of Chieu Vien Agricultural Production, Business and Services Cooperative, Tay Hung commune, Tien Lang district; Bananas from Nam Viet Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries and Seafood Cooperative, Tay Hung commune, Tien Lang district; Fresh oyster mushrooms from Do Van Tuan mushroom production facility, Vinh Phong commune, Vinh Bao district; Nep Man wine from Hoang Quan wine production facility, An Hoa commune, Vinh Bao district; Bang La apples from Bang La Agricultural and Aquatic Cooperative, Bang La ward, Do Son district; Cat Ba wild flower honey, Hibinatu wine, Hibigreen beverage, Hibinatu tea, Hibisy juice from Truong Xanh Food Trading Joint Stock Company, Nam Son commune, An Duong district.
Manufacturing facilities whose products have been recognized as OCOP products are allowed to use the OCOP logo and star rating printed on the product packaging.
The city-level OCOP product certificate is valid for 36 months (3 years) from the date of signing.

*** After more than 1 year of implementing the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP), up to now the country has 470 OCOP products, including 9 5-star products, 160 4-star products, 308 3-star products.
OCOP is an economic development program for rural areas in the direction of developing internal resources and adding value, a solution and task in implementing the National Target Program on building new rural areas.
The focus of the OCOP Program is to develop agricultural and non-agricultural products and services with advantages in each locality along the value chain, implemented by private economic sectors (enterprises, production households) and the collective economy.
After more than 1 year of implementation, the OCOP program has had outstanding results in terms of the number of products participating in the program, designs, and quality that has been gradually affirmed, gradually forming a group of specialty products of each countryside associated with preserving the culture and characteristics of each region.
