On the afternoon of June 4, comrade Nguyen Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee chaired the inspection of the progress of the investment project to build Dinh bridge and Quang Thanh bridge. Also attending were representatives of leaders of relevant agencies and units.

Inspecting the two bridge projects, comrade Nguyen Duc Tho praised the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board for closely coordinating with localities, contractors, and supervision consultants to well organize the construction work, ensuring compliance with the progress plan (adjusted because of the COVID-19 epidemic). In just a few days, the two bridge projects will be completed. Comrade Nguyen Duc Tho requested the Project Management Board to contact and invite specialized agencies of the Ministry of Transport to appraise and complete procedures to put the two bridges into operation and use. At the same time, continue to construct the final items, completed before June 15 to report to the City People's Committee on the inauguration organization. Particularly at the Dinh Bridge project, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee YRequest Thuy Nguyen district to strictly implement the direction of the City People's Committee on ensuring traffic safety from the road connecting Dinh bridge to Road 352. From now until June 20, Thuy Nguyen district needs to organize patching and ensure traffic on the connecting road so that people can travel more conveniently and safely.

The paths on both sides of Dinh bridge are being urgently completed.

According to the Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, currently, the Dinh Bridge construction project has reached 95% of the work volume value. The entire bridge is basically completed, only the last 2 expansion joints and traffic markings remain to be installed. The two ends of the path are preparing to complete the class 1 gravel layer, spread asphalt concrete, and install traffic signs. Dinh Bridge is expected to be completely completed before June 13, 2021.

Dinh Bridge connecting Thuy Nguyen district (Hai Phong city) and Kinh Mon district (Hai Duong province) is basically completed and expected to open to traffic at the end of June 2021.

Previously, Dinh bridge and Quang Thanh bridge held load tests to meet quality requirements according to design./.
