The OPHELIA ship has an overall length of 172 m, a total tonnage of 21,778MT, and is one of the ships of the global shipping company CMA-CG with a fleet of more than 350 container ships, with a total carrying capacity of over 1 million Teu containers. On the CMA-HSF1 service route, the OPHELIA ship arrives at Hai Phong Port with a frequency of 2 trips/month, the total expected export and import output is about 1,200 Teu/trip, the average output is 2,400-2,500 Teu/month. According to the leaders of Hai Phong Port Joint Stock Company, the first ship in the CMA-HSF1 service line docking at Tan Vu branch port continues to be a bright spot in the production and business activities of Hai Phong Port, continuing the success achieved in the first 6 months of 2021 (the entire Port welcomed and handled 1.114 ships, of which 617 were container ships). Overcoming the impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic and fierce competition for market share among ports in the region, the addition of new service routes is the result of continuous efforts in customer care and improving service quality; affirming the reputation and trust of customers in Hai Phong Port.
