The Government has just issued Resolution No. 143/NQ-CP dated September 17, 2024 on key tasks and solutions to urgently overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi), quickly stabilize the people's situation, promote the restoration of production and business, actively promote economic growth, and well control inflation.
To urgently overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 (Yagi), Resolution No. 143/NQ-CP of the Government sets out 6 groups of key tasks, tasks and solutions, including:
– Group of key tasks and solutions to protect the lives, safety and health of the People.
– Group of key tasks and solutions to support the restoration of life and social activities to stabilize people's lives.
– Group of key tasks and solutions to support and promote production and business recovery.
– Group of key tasks and solutions on preparing to respond to natural disasters, storms, floods, landslides... in the near future.
– Group of tasks, solutions on mechanisms, policies, solutions to reduce and simplify administrative procedures to deploy support policies.
– Group of tasks and solutions on controlling inflation and promoting economic growth.
The Government assigns Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Government agencies, Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to focus thoroughly and urgently organize the synchronous, timely and effective implementation of solutions and support policies, ensuring strict compliance with the law, avoiding loss, waste, negativity and group benefits; Proactively handle difficulties, problems, and issues that arise within authority, and report to competent authorities on issues beyond authority.
Provinces and centrally-run cities urgently review and complete damage statistics, maximize local budget resources to proactively deploy solutions and policies to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3, support people, business establishments, business households, cooperatives and enterprises, and promote economic growth according to their authority; Urgently report the damage situation and propose support from the central budget and send it to the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Ministry of Planning and Investment before September 20, 2024 for synthesis and submission to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision on support.
The Government respectfully requests the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations, socio-political organizations, and the Vietnam Red Cross, according to their tasks and powers, to urgently organize programs to visit, encourage, give gifts, and support people affected by natural disasters, storms and floods, especially the vulnerable./.
