(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of April 24, at the City Convention Center, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam chaired the Conference to mobilize sponsorship for the Red Phoenix Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2024. Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of departments, branches, localities and typical businesses in the city.

Speaking at the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam said: 2024 is the year the city will organize the 11th Red Phoenix Flower Festival and the first year held at the Political - Administrative Center Square, North Cam River Urban Area, Thuy Nguyen district, Hai Phong city with the theme "Hai Phong - Brightening up the heritage region". In particular, the Evening Art Program "Hai Phong - Brightening up the heritage region" will be held on the evening of May 11, 2023. At the program, the city will host the reception of the World Natural Heritage Title of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba Archipelago from the UNESCO World Heritage Committee. For the first time, the city organized a fireworks display at both low and high altitudes in the Festival Night program. This is a large-scale Festival Night program.The largest ever in Hai Phong city (both in terms of stage, audience, stands...). The program was broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and widely promoted to localities across the country, as well as to Vietnamese compatriots far from the country.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee said that according to regulations, the city cannot fully use the budget to spend on Festival activities, so the city wants businesses to join hands and support the city to organize a brilliantly successful Festival, contributing to building the city's reputation and brand with domestic and international friends, contributing to attracting investment and socio-economic development.
At the Conference, comrade Tran Thi Hoang Mai - Director of the Department of Culture and Sports informed about the main activities that will take place during the Festival; Comrade Hoang Xuan Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Finance informed about the sponsorship structure, benefits of organizations and individuals participating in advertising and sponsoring the organization of Red Phoenix Flower Festival activities - Hai Phong 2024.

At the Conference, representatives of many businesses pledged to sponsor a total amount of nearly 25 billion VND. Of which, Vingroup and Sao Do Investment Group Joint Stock Company donated 5 billion VND; DOJI Land Real Estate Joint Stock Company (3 billion VND); Hoang Huy Financial Services Investment Joint Stock Company (2 billion VND); Masterise Lumiere Office Building Services Joint Stock Company (2 billion VND); Xuan Cau Investment Joint Stock Company (1 billion VND); Vinaconex Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (1 billion VND); Many other units and businesses also agreed to sponsor the Festival with an amount of up to hundreds of millions of dong.
Concluding the Conference, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Khac Nam acknowledged and respectfully thanked the sense of responsibility and generosity of businesses, always accompanying the city to do a good job of social security and taking care of the cultural and spiritual life of the city's people. City leaders commit to using the funds from businesses sponsoring the Festival for the right purposes, avoiding waste or loss.
