On the morning of June 10, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee met, listened to reports, and gave opinions on a number of contents. At the meeting, representatives of the City People's Committee Party Committee leaders reported on the List of traffic projects and key projects that need to be prioritized for investment in the city in the period 2026 - 2030. Accordingly, there are a total of 32 traffic projects and key projects that need to be prioritized with a total estimated investment of about 193,112 billion VND. In the process of researching and implementing projects, in addition to public investment capital, the City People's Committee will direct investment research in the form of PPP (BT, BOT...) and other sources to ensure the ability to balance capital sources of the city budget in the period 2026 - 2030.
The City People's Committee Party Committee also reported on adjusting the investment policy of the Ring Road 2 construction investment project, section Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien street. Accordingly, building a route from the intersection of Tan Vu - Hung Dao - Bui Vien street with a total length of about 11.0 km; in Hai An, Duong Kinh and Kien An districts; Land use area is about 106.53 hectares; The project implementation period is from 2021 - 2028. The project is implemented to complete the city's urban framework infrastructure system in general and Hai An, Duong Kinh, Kien An districts in particular; creating a premise for developing new urban areas, contributing to building modern urban areas to encourage attracting domestic and foreign investment capital to invest in economic development – Social areas of districts where the route passes through in Hai Phong city.
Along with that is the investment policy of the Dinh Vu 2 General Port construction investment project. The project has a total area of about 15.6 hectares, including: building 01 144 m long port and berth to receive general ships, liquid cargo ships up to 10,000 DWT or larger when qualified; Build a system of warehouses, yards, architectural works, technical infrastructure works and invest in a synchronous mining equipment system. The project implementation location is in Dong Hai 2 ward, Hai An district, in Dinh Vu - Cat Hai economic zone.
