(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of November 1, at To Hieu Political School, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city organized a professional training conference on Front work in 2024. Comrade Dao Trong Duc, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city chaired the conference.
In attendance were the Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the district; Chairman of the Commune-level Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Head of the Typical Front Working Committee.

At the Conference, Comrade Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, informed some basic features of the results of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029. Accordingly, on October 16, 17, 18, 2024 at the National Convention Center, Hanoi Capital, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front took place solemnly with the theme Topic: Solidarity – Democracy – Innovation – Creativity – Development.
Attending the Congress were 1,052 official delegates, representing people from all walks of life in the country and Vietnamese people abroad; More than 300 guest delegates are leaders and former leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front... The Congress approved the Political Report of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX. The Congress agreed with the assessment of the results of the Front's work for the 2019 - 2024 term and lessons learned.
The Congress approved the Report reviewing the activities of the Central Committee, the Presidium and the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX, term 2019 - 2024; discuss and agree to approve the amended and supplemented Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Approved the personnel project of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, term X, including: 405 positions; Presidium: 72 people; Standing Committee: 6 members including Chairman, Vice Chairman - Secretary General and 04 full-time Vice Presidents; 7 non-specialized Vice Presidents. At the Congress, 397 people were elected to join the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, term 2024-2029.
