The City People's Council's Economic and Budget Committee verifies the draft Resolution submitted to the 30th Session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council.

On the morning of October 24, the Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council held a meeting to review the draft resolution documents submitted to the 30th Session (thematic session) of the XVI City People's Council, term 2021 - 2026. Comrade Nguyen Trong Tue, Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting were comrade Bui Duc Quang, Vice Chairman of the City People's Council and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, branches and People's Committees of Tran Nhan Tong and Le Dai Hanh wards.

The Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council has examined the following contents: List of projects and works that must recover land for compensation, site clearance for mineral exploitation as materials for construction (leveling) of the Gia Binh International Airport project in Le Dai Hanh and Tran Nhan Tong wards. The policy of converting forests to other purposes is to implement a project to exploit minerals as leveling materials at Hang Ho hill, Tran Nhan Tong ward to serve the construction (leveling) of the Gia Binh International Airport project.

After listening to the opinions and exchanges of the Departments, branches and localities, speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tue, Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council, proposed that regarding the policy of converting the forest use purpose to another purpose in the Tiger Cave area, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is requested to preside over and standardize the data and ensure consistency between documents, ensuring uniform data before submitting to the City People's Council for consideration and resolution. At the same time, urgently carry out assessments on flow, flood drainage corridors, roads... to ensure a scientific and objective basis.

Emphasizing the urgency of the task of serving key projects of the Central Government, the Head of the Economic and Budget Committee of the City People's Council requested to speed up the progress of completing documents, processes and procedures. The Department of Agriculture and Environment fully synthesizes the contents, coordinates with localities in propaganda work, captures and evaluates public opinion, ensuring that no problems arise during implementation and does not affect people's lives.

In response to the concerns of the two wards, the Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to evaluate and supplement the list of relevant agricultural and forestry land. The Economic and Budget Committee agreed on the policy of changes in planning work, requesting the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Department of Finance to supplement, appraise, fully update, coordinate to adjust planning, and complete the local planning documents of the city after consolidation./.
