Of which, in industrial parks and economic zones: 600 projects, investment capital of 30.18 billion USD; outside industrial parks and economic zones: 420 projects, investment capital of 3.62 billion USD.
Total foreign investment capital attraction across the city from the beginning of the year to December 31, 2024 including newly registered capital, increased registered capital and value of capital contribution and share purchase by foreign investors reached 4,909.36 million USD. Of which, in industrial parks and economic zones reached 4,378.21 million USD (accounting for 89.18%); In addition to industrial parks, economic zones reached 531.15 million USD (accounting for 10.82%) of the capital attracted to the whole city. Specifically:
Newly registered capital includes 126 projects from 14 countries and territories with an investment capital of 757.43 million USD. Of which, new projects in industrial parks and economic zones were 74 projects, reaching 689.38 million USD, (accounting for 91.02%); New grants outside industrial parks and economic zones of 52 projects reached 68.05 million USD (accounting for 8.98%).
Adjusted registered capital has 72 projects, with an increased capital of 3,724.36 million USD. Of which, in industrial parks and economic zones, there are 60 projects with increased investment capital of 3,667.43 million USD; In addition to the industrial park, the economic zone has 12 projects with increased investment capital of 56.93 million USD.
Attracted through capital contribution, share purchase, capital contribution: 26 times, registered investment capital: 427.57 million USD. In industrial parks and economic zones: 05 times, registered investment capital of 21.4 million USD; outside industrial parks and economic zones: 21 times, registered 406.17 million USD, of which: Investors from NVY Co., Ltd (Japan) bought shares in NVY Vietnam Development Joint Stock Company with a share value of 397.75 million USD.

– By investment field: Of the total 757.43 million USD of FDI capital the city has attracted since the beginning of the year, up to 314.98 million USD was invested in the manufacturing and processing industry (accounting for 41.59%); 251.7 million USD invested in the transportation sector (accounting for 33.23%); The rest are other fields.
– According to investment partners: From the beginning of the year to December 31, 2024, the city has 14 countries and territories with investment projects in Hai Phong, of which Singapore leads with a total registered capital of 200.19 million USD, accounting for 26.76% of total investment capital; Hong Kong ranked second with a total registered capital of 120.33 million USD, accounting for 16.08% of total investment capital and England ranked third with a total investment capital of 101.2 million USD, accounting for 13.53% of total investment capital.
