(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the afternoon of April 10, the City Business Sector Party Committee held the 16th Executive Committee Conference to summarize the implementation of first quarter tasks; Key directions and tasks for the second quarter of 2024. In the first quarter of 2024, the Block Party Committee and grassroots party committees closely follow the policies of the Party and State and the leadership and direction of the City Party Committee on socio-economic development, lead and direct party organizations, party members and socio-political organizations to carry out production and business tasks, and well comply with legal regulations and policies for workers. Completed the target of establishing grassroots Party organizations in non-state enterprises assigned by the City Party Committee in 2024 (2/2 units).
Enterprises in the Block continue to maintain production and business, have revenue, and pay to the State budget. Results of implementing a number of production and business targets in the first quarter (estimates of units): Total revenue of 4,791 billion VND, 31 units achieved and exceeded 25% of the 2024 plan. Total payment to the state budget was 171 billion VND, 31 enterprises (accounting for 33%) paid to the budget 01 billion VND or more. Total export turnover is 38 million USD. Total capital mobilization of banking units in the Block is 30,023 billion VND; Total outstanding loans are 12,151 billion VND, bad debt ratio is 0.04%.

Grassroots party committees at all levels have led and coordinated with enterprise leadership to maintain jobs, increase income, and fully implement regimes and policies for workers. Nearly 22.5 thousand workers in the Sector are guaranteed jobs, with an average income of 11 million VND/person/month, an increase of 12% over the same period in 2023. Businesses have contributed 1,075 million VND to social security work, giving gifts to the poor and policy families.
