To strengthen the work of preventing and combating cyber attacks and protecting data, the Subcommittee of Safety and Cyber Security of Hai Phong city has just issued Document 34/TBATANMTP -KSTTHC dated April 4, 2024 on strengthening the work of ensuring cyber security of key information systems.
Accordingly, the Sub-Committee of Safety and Cyber Security of Hai Phong city requests the Heads of the city's departments, branches, branches, Chairman of the People's Committee at district and commune levels and agencies, units and businesses in the city to thoroughly and strictly implement the Law on Cyber Security in 2018, Decree No. 53/2022/ND-CP dated August 15, 2022 of the Government detailing a number of regulations. Articles of the Cyber Security Law, Decree No. 13/2023/ND-CP dated April 17, 2023 of the Government on personal data protection... and the contents of the above document; Specify the responsibilities of units, organizations and individuals in protecting the network security of key information systems and protecting personal data.
Along with that, organize propaganda and dissemination throughout the political system, agencies and units to raise awareness and responsibility for ensuring security and safety of the network system, protecting state secrets and personal data information in cyberspace. Regularly update and strictly implement notices and warnings of specialized agencies on types of cyber attacks, cyber crimes, crimes using high technology, risks of losing network security, and personal data information; Organize drills to prevent and combat cyber attacks and respond to and fix cyber security incidents according to regulations for the unit's information systems; Regularly train, foster, and improve knowledge and skills for officials, party members, and specialized teamsResponsible for information technology and cybersecurity at agencies and units to meet capacity and requirements for protecting cybersecurity and state secrets in cyberspace.
Hai Phong City Cyber Security and Safety Subcommittee assigned the City Police to preside and coordinate with the Department of Information and Communications; Relevant agencies and units periodically and irregularly inspect and supervise the implementation of regulations on cybersecurity protection and protection of key information systems; Strictly handle according to regulations cases that cause network insecurity, loss of state secrets and personal data in cyberspace of agencies, units and localities in the city.
At the same time, review, develop and complete regulations, processes, regulations and guidelines on cybersecurity protection and submit them to competent authorities for approval; At the same time, regularly inspect, supervise, and ensure strict compliance and implementation throughout the city. Strictly handle illegal transfers and sales of personal data. In case a violation of regulations on personal data protection is detected, notify the agency in charge of personal data protection of the Ministry of Public Security for timely coordination and handling.
