The goal of the Plan is that the city focuses on improving the quality and efficiency of business in the private economic sector, building businesses in Hai Phong city with competitiveness and sustainable development, building and developing private economic corporations with strong potential and competitiveness in domestic and foreign markets; Many businesses participate in regional and global value chain production networks. Strive to have over 42,000 operating businesses by 2025 and over 53,000 operating businesses by 2030. The growth rate of the private economy is higher than the general growth rate of the economy. Strive to increase the private economic sector's contribution to gross regional product (GRDP)By 2025, it will reach about 55% -56%, and by 2030, it will reach about 60% - 65%. Labor productivity increased by over 5%/year; Every year, about 35 - 40% of private enterprises have innovation activities; narrow the gap in technology level, human resource quality and competitiveness of private sector enterprises compared to the leading group of ASEAN-4; Many private sector enterprises participate in regional and global production networks and value chains.
The Department of Finance was assigned by the City People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with other departments, branches, localities and units to monitor and urge the implementation of the Plan; Annually compile a Report on the implementation of Resolution No. 45/NQ-CP dated March 31, 2023, and draft a report of the City People's Committee before December 5 to send to the Ministry of Planning and Investment./.
