Promoting the traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", the tradition of "Loyalty - Solidarity - Exemplary - Innovation", in the 2017-2022 term, with the spirit of proactively overcoming difficulties, the Bloc Veterans Association has successfully completed the comprehensive tasks and expenditures set out by the Second Congress. The Association's work activities are increasingly innovated and improved in quality in a practical and effective direction. The exemplary association takes the lead in difficult and complex tasks such as preventing and combating the Covid-19 epidemic, building new rural areas, urban embellishment, environmental sanitation, water supply and drainage, and protecting security and order; Fire and explosion prevention in businesses promotes the movement to help each other develop economically and improve living standards. A number of businesses owned by Veterans along with a collective of business leaders boldly invest capital, receive science and technology transfer, improve the efficiency of production and business activities, create many jobs, increase income and improve the lives of workers. Actively participate in the fight against bureaucratic corruption, waste and social evils, contributing to building a strong political base. The Block Veterans Association continues to affirm that it is a reliable support for Party committees and governments at all levels.

The Association has contributed to support the construction of 9 "comradeship" houses, 5 "Great Solidarity" houses worth over 640 million VND; On the occasion of holidays and New Year, commemorating the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs on July 27, the organization organized visits to give 1,769 gifts worth over 760 million VND, contributed over 120 million VND to the locality, regularly supported 8 victims of Agent Orange in the city with 200,000 VND/month each, gave 9 savings books to heroic Vietnamese Mothers...

For the 2022 - 2027 term, the Veterans Association of the City Business Sector defines the goal: Continue to mobilize to unite generations of Veterans to promote the traditional nature of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers", the tradition that echoes "Loyalty, solidarity, exemplary, innovation" of Vietnam Veterans. Actively participate in building and protecting the Party, government, and regime; join forces and unanimously with party committees, authorities and businesses to overcome all difficulties and challenges, production and business develop sustainably; Enhance the spirit of self-reliance, help each other do business, get rich legally; Build a clean and strong Association in politics, ideology and organization; innovate to improve the quality and effectiveness of the competition movementa “Exemplary veteran”; regularly takes care of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of Veterans...
At the same time, 8 main groups of indicators, 5 groups of tasks and solutions are presented; In particular, 3 groups of breakthrough solutions are proposed, which are: Focus on building a comprehensively strong Association organization, taking building the Association's base as the core, the focus throughout the term.
