On the morning of June 3, Comrade Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation, Head of the Steering Committee for site clearance of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project passing through the city chaired the meeting of the Steering Committee.

Up to now, localities have completed identifying and organizing the planting of expected boundary markers for the project scope; Completed cadastral mapping and is in agreement with the Railway Project Management Board (Ministry of Construction) to complete and approve the cadastral map.
Representatives of leaders of departments, branches, districts and districts requested the project investor to soon approve and publicize the official route; accelerate the construction of resettlement areas; Study the plan to upgrade Quoc Tuan Technical Operation Station and Nam Dinh Vu Station into passenger stations to facilitate passenger movement when the project is put into operation.
After inspecting the actual site clearance work for project implementation in Dinh Vu area, Hai An district, listening to reports and opinions of delegates attending the meeting, City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau highly appreciated the proactive and active spirit of departments, branches and localities in implementing tasks and work related to the project. The City Party Secretary emphasized that the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway construction investment project is a key national project, with strategic significance in developing traffic connections. In particular, the project will create an important driving force for socio-economic development of Hai Phong city. To contribute to speeding up project implementation, the city agreed on a policy of contributing funds from public sourcesn city policy to implement the project across the city with a total amount of about 11,000 billion VND.

This is a project with a huge workload, a tight time frame, and high quality requirements. Therefore, the Secretary of the City Party Committee directs relevant departments, branches, branches, and localities to promote a sense of responsibility and high concentration to well implement the requirements and tasks in the coming time. Through research and field surveys, Hai Phong city agreed on the route plan for the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway section passing through the city as in the feasibility study. To ensure project progress, the Secretary of the City Party Committee and Head of the Steering Committee requested that the City People's Committee soon organize a dialogue conference with businesses in the Dinh Vu area to create consensus and unity in project implementation; Direct the Project Management Board of Hai Phong traffic and agricultural projects to soon start construction of resettlement areas to serve site clearance work. Resettlement areas need to be built in favorable locations, with complete infrastructure, ensuring convenience in people's lives. The City Police and the City Military Command strengthen their understanding of the area and proactively plan to ensure security, social order and safety during project implementation; The Department of Agriculture and Environment urgently unifies and completes the land mapa project itself; The Department of Finance calculates and allocates enough funds to serve site clearance work. For localities where projects pass through, it is necessary to promote propaganda and advocacy work so that people clearly understand the meaning and importance of the project, create high consensus, strictly comply with regulations, and prevent illegal construction from occurring, profiteering from policies related to compensation and site clearance support./.
