On the afternoon of September 20, the City People's Committee held a conference to summarize the work of participating in the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Attending the Conference were comrades: Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Van Lap, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, leaders of the City People's Committee; together with representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches, businesses and individuals.
The display area of Hai Phong city at the National Achievement Exhibition has the theme "Hai Phong - Faith and desire to grow with the Country". The selected exhibition content is the most typical images, documents, and artifacts about the process of fighting, building and developing the city's economy - culture - society, security and defense, and foreign affairs, expressed in many rich, diverse, lively, and attractive forms. Among them, 84 typical businesses of the city brought to the Exhibition outstanding products in the fields of real estate; trade, logistics; high-tech industry, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, shipbuilding; information technology; tourism; high-tech agriculture; handicraft industry; cuisine.
19 days of the Exhibition, 600 thousand domestic and foreign tourists visited the city's exhibition area; 232 buses from 19 businesses took and picked up 11,000 city people to visit the Exhibition for free. The city's exhibition area was honored to welcome Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh, comrade Tran Quoc Vuong - former Politburo member, former Standing Secretary of the Secretariat, and former city leaders to visit. Over 800 news and articles about the exhibition booths of Hai Phong city were published in all types of newspapers along with hundreds of news, articles, photos and videos introduced on social networks, attracting special attention from city residents as well as tourists nationwide.
With results exceeding expectations, Hai Phong city has left many marks in the hearts of the city's people, domestic and foreign tourists, creating a good impression on the Party and State leaders.
At the end of the exhibition, the People's Committee of Hai Phong city was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Prime Minister for its outstanding achievements in leadership, direction, organization and implementation of the National Achievement Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam; Hai Phong city was also honored to receive the "Typical exhibition space" award from the Exhibition Organizing Committee.
Speaking at the Conference, Comrade Le Ngoc Chau, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee, respectfully thanked businesses, organizations and individuals for their unanimous, extraordinary efforts and perseverance to ensure high service quality throughout the 19 days of the Exhibition.
The success of the recent Exhibition has affirmed that the business community is a pioneering force and an important driving force in promoting the city's development. The Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes and believes that Hai Phong's business community will continue to maintain the spirit of innovation, promote high-tech investment, digital transformation, green transformation, and create international quality products and services with the Hai Phong brand. At the same time, businesses need to expand cooperation, link more closely, and deeply participate in the global value chain; linking business interests with community interests, actively participating in social security programs; building a dynamic, creative, respectful and responsible Hai Phong business culture; and continue to mapAccompanying the government and people in major events and programs of the city.
Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that in every stage of development, Hai Phong city always identifies businesses as a pioneering force and an important driving force in the cause of innovation and integration. Therefore, the city respectfully commits to always accompany, support and create the most favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably and successfully.
At the conference, the City People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 05 collectives and 26 individuals with outstanding achievements, 100 businesses with outstanding achievements in participating in Exhibition activities; presented Outstanding Booth Awards to 25 businesses.
