(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of January 21, the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone organized a conference to summarize the work in 2023; Deploying directions and tasks in 2024; commemorating the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024). Attending and directing the Conference was Mr. Le Trung Kien, Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board.

Conference delegates.At the Conference, delegates together reviewed the glorious and proud historical journey of our Party over the past 94 years. Over the past 94 years since its establishment, the Communist Party of Vietnam founded and trained by President Ho Chi Minh has led the Vietnamese revolution to win national independence, successfully resisted, protected independence and freedom, unified the Fatherland and brought the whole country to socialism.
Comrade Dao Phu Thuy Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone, spoke at the Conference recommendation.After nearly 2 years, the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone was upgraded by the City Party Committee to become the direct superior Party Committee of the Party's grassroots organization (under the City Party Committee) and has gradually stabilized its organizational structure and operations, making breakthroughs in the development of the party organization and party members, gradually affirming the role and position of the direct superior Party Committee of the grassroots Party organization. Up to now, the entire Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone has 05 grassroots Party Committees and 24 grassroots Party cells in industrial parks and economic zones. The total number of Party members in the entire Party Committee is 963 comrades.
In 2023, the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone has basically completed all aspects of Party building work. The work of propaganda, thorough understanding and implementation of Directives and Resolutions of the Central Committee and the City Party Committee is paid attention to. Organizing periodic Conferences of Rapporteurs and capturing ideas and public opinions has invested in innovation. The registration and construction of the "Smart Public Mobilization" model initially received attention from party committees at all levels, achieving remarkable results.
Comrade Le Trung Kien, Head of Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board awarded Certificate of Merit to collectives.The work of developing new party members and establishing Party organizations was completed exceeding the assigned targets. The Standing Committee of the Party Committee has issued a Decision to establish 06 grassroots Party organizations, directing grassroots Party Committees to establish 03 Party organizations at enterprises; 175 new party members have been admitted, completing more than 100% of the target of admitting additional party members assigned by the City Party Committee in 2023; recognized 115 reserve party members as officially transferred, and transferred party activities to 97 party comrades.
The order and quality of Party cell activities have been raised one step higher. The quality of cadres, especially grassroots-level cadres, has seen positive changes. Inspection and supervision work to complete the proposed plan. Under the leadership of the Party Committee, the Economic Zone's political organizations basically completed their tasks, deployed many grassroots-oriented movements and activities, attracting a large number of union members and members to participate.

Comrade Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, gave a speech at the Conference recommendation.Speaking at the Conference, Mr. Le Trung Kien, Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board, assessed that in 2023, the Party Committee of Hai Phong Economic Zone has had many solutions focusing on strengthening the leadership capacity and fighting power of the Party's grassroots organizations; Grassroots party committees at all levels basically implement the principle of democratic centralism, improve the quality of party activities, maintain strict discipline, and strengthen unity within the Party; Regularly educate, train and improve political qualities, revolutionary ethics, qualifications, knowledge and working capacity for cadres and party members.
Regarding the tasks for 2024, the Head of the Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board agreed with the task groups and solutions proposed by the Hai Phong Economic Zone Party Committee; which suggests the need to develop a plan to survey the situation of Party members at enterprises in Industrial Parks and Economic Zones and directions for developing Party organizations at enterprises; Strengthen coordination and information exchange with District Party Committees, District Party Committees, and Block Party Committees in Party building work, especially party member management in Industrial Parks and Economic Zones; continue to do well in party development work, determined to complete and exceed the targets and tasks assigned by the City Party Committee in 2024; Strengthen direction of work to improve the quality of Party cell activities; direct cGrassroots party committees and unions continue to implement the model of "Smart public mobilization"; Actively participate in building the party and building stronger businesses...
