Cau Rao Project

The Rào 1 Bridge Project, with the Hai Phong Traffic Works Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor, has a total investment of over 2,260 billion VND from the city budget. Of this, construction costs amount to more than 1,100 billion VND. Rào 1 Bridge features a steel and pre-stressed reinforced concrete structure, is 30.5 m wide and 456.5 m long, comprising 11 spans; the main span has a steel arch, and the approach spans are hollow slab girders. Rào 1 Bridge is designed with 4 lanes for motorized vehicles, 2 mixed-use lanes, a median strip, safety strips, and sidewalks on both sides. Rào 1 Bridge contributes to building a transportation network connecting Hai Phong city center with the districts of Đồ Sơn, Dương Kinh, Kiến Thụy, and the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway.
