On the evening of May 11, at the Square of the Political - Administrative Center of the North Cam River New Urban Area (Thuy Nguyen City), the City People's Committee held a rehearsal of the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong - City of Heroes (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025) and the Art Program "Hai Phong - 70 years of faith and desire to excel" to open the Phoenix Flower Festival. Comrades: Le Tien Chau, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Do Manh Hien, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; Pham Van Lap, Chairman of the City People's Council; Dao Trong Duc, Chairman of the city's Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, attended and directed.
The program consists of 2 parts: The celebration and reception of the title "Heroic City" takes place solemnly, with an elaborately choreographed grand opening scene, showing a Hai Phong that is both traditional and modern, with a heroic past, a booming present and reaching out to a bright future.
Part 2 is a special art program consisting of 3 chapters: “Hai Phong – a land of spiritual masterpieces”; "The heroic song of loyalty and determination to win"; and "Hai Phong - belief and desire to grow", portraying important historical marks of Hai Phong from ancient times, through the work of building and protecting the Fatherland until today.
This part combines music, dance, choreography, real-life theater, advanced technology applications: 3D Mapping, Lazer Mapping, maximum sound, technical lighting, artistic fireworks... promising to make a strong impression on the public.
At the program, city leaders and the Arts Council gave suggestions to the crew to complete the program before officially taking place on the evening of May 13, which was broadcast live on VTV1 channel, digital platforms, relayed on TV channels and social network platforms of the Press and Communications Center of Hai Phong city and a number of TV channels of other localities./.
