(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of September 24, the Editorial Team assisting the Document Subcommittee of the 17th City Party Congress met for the second time, giving comments on the draft Proposal and detailed outline of the 17th Congress Political Report. Comrade Nguyen Van Tuan, Member of the City Party Committee, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, Standing Member of the Documents Subcommittee, Head of the Editorial Team helped chair the meeting. Also attending were members of the Editorial Team assisting.
At the meeting, members of the Editorial Team assisted in giving opinions on contents such as: report layout; Update developments on the international and regional political situation, epidemics, and consequences of Storm No. 3; Adding a number of indicators, including the field of digital transformation; Analyze solutions to overcome limitations; clarify the city's breakthroughs in socio-economic development, Party building, especially cadre work to ensure effective implementation of the directions and tasks set out in the new situation.

After listening to the opinions of members of the Editorial Team, Comrade Nguyen Van Tuan, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, Head of the Editorial Team, helped acknowledge the sense of responsibility of the members of the Team for completing the detailed outline of the Political Report of the 17th City Party Congress on the basis of the preliminary outline to ensure on schedule. Based on the comments, the Editorial Team will absorb, update and select the contents, goals, targets and tasks to continue to improve the draft detailed outline of the Political Report of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee to be more logical, scientific and strict, minimizing the duplication of items in the report.
During the editing process, the Team will closely follow guiding documents such as Resolution of the 16th Congress of the City Party Committee, Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, Resolution No. 45 of the Politburo on building and developing the city to 2030, vision to 2045, Decision No. 1516 of the Prime Minister approving the City Planning for the period 2021-2030, vision to 2050... to compare, analyze and clarify the achieved results, lessons learned, as well as orient solutions to overcome existing problems, bringing the city to breakthrough in the term 2025-2030 and the following years.
The Head of the Editorial Team also requested the Economic - Social, National Defense - Security and Foreign Affairs Teams to soon inform the indicators on related fields so that the Editorial Team can help update and complete the draft detailed outline of the Political Report of the 17th Congress of the City Party Committee.
