Cwelcoming the Delegation to visit and work in Hai Phong, City Party Secretary Le Tien Chau affirmed: Hai Phong city attaches great importance to the development of friendly and cooperative relations with Chinese localities, including the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Informing the Delegation about the city's socio-economic development situation, the Secretary of the City Party Committee said that currently, there are 407 investment projects from Chinese investors (including mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong) with a total investment capital of 6.36 billion USD, ranking first in terms of number of projects and sixth in terms of investment capital of FDI enterprises investing in Hai Phong. Currently, the city is focusing on developing 20 new Industrial Parks with a total area of ​​more than 7.0 square meters00 hectares and has submitted to the Prime Minister the establishment of a southern coastal economic zone (EZ) in Hai Phong with an area of ​​​​about 20,000 hectares - a multi-sector 3.0 generation ecological economic zone, focusing on high-tech industry, seaports, modern logistics and smart urban areas.
